Andrea Satterwhite joined Middleton Family Medicine in 2017 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Andrea received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State University in 2011, with a minor in psychology. Following her completion of nursing at SSU, she practiced in a variety of specialties including medical-surgical nursing, emergency medicine, pediatrics and home care. She then obtained her Master of Science in nursing from Regis College in 2014 and became a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board in 2014. A year later, Andrea returned to Regis College to obtain her second Master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In 2021, Andrea received her Lactation Consultant certificate through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice. Andrea has plans to further her education by obtaining her Doctor of Nursing Practice in the near future. She is a proud member of the AANP, PNCB and Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. She has special interests in preventative care, acute care, family/pediatrics and lactation. Andrea is also a proud food allergy mom, mother of three, a licensed real estate agent and an active member of her community; her husband is a forensic Attorney specializing in real estate, family probate and personal injury. Andrea enjoys church, shopping, reading, and spending time with family.
