Jackie Hartigan joined Middleton Family Medicine in 2022 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in 1990 and returned to the Heights to receive her Master of Social Work in 1998. After working several years in state government in the fields of child welfare and mental health, she graduated from Suffolk University in 2002 with her Master of Health Administration. She was awarded the Deland Fellowship at Brigham & Women's hospital in 2003 where she was trained in all aspects of hospital administration and policy development. Missing clinical practice she pursued her Master of Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions graduating in 2007. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has been a practicing Family NP on the North Shore for the past 15 years. She remains particularly interested in child and adolescent health.
