Sandi Hickey has been at Middleton since 2019 when the practice partnered with the Gordon College Health Center where she has spent the last 14 years working with young adults. Her special interests are in the areas of college medicine, cardiology, urgent care and behavioral health. Sandi earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Northeastern University, in Boston and has been practicing as a board certified adult primary care nurse practitioner for the last 23 years. She spent the first 10 years of her career working in acute care at Massachusetts General Hospital in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology. Sandi noticed a sharp increase in the mental health needs within the young adult population and took the initiative to expand her expertise in behavioral health. She went on to graduate from University of New Hampshire and is also board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Sandi is passionate about her work and enjoys the connection she has with her patients. Sandi and her husband make their home in Manchester where they enjoy time at the beach, spending time with their two daughters, their two year old labradoodle and 6 chickens.
